Named and Shamed over dog poo!
I was disgusted the other day when taking Paddy for a walk. My street was like an obstacle course, dodging all the dog poo that careless owners have not picked up behind them.I could moan about this all day long being in the profession I'm in, but I,m glad to say things are on the up and up around Nottingham...

The cost of picking up after irresponsible dog owners in 2016 was more than £70,000
It costs the council an average of £5 to clear each dog poo.
The council is introducing a new rule which allows Community Protection Officers to fine dog walkers £70 on the spot if they don't have bags with them to clear up after their pets.
The council also will soon start publishing the names of people who have been prosecuted for environmental crimes including dog fouling.
I personally think this is all going in the right direction. I hear neighbours complaining all the time, when walking their children to school and nursery the game of dodge poo they have to undertake is becoming unacceptable.
